Account Management
Sufficient funds must be maintained in your account to cover work contracted and for commissions due. To add funds click on Deposit Funds button and select credit card or PayPal. You may also pay by check or bank wire funds in any currency which will be converted at the prevailing foreign exchange rates. Account balances are all held in US Dollars. Deposits not in USD will be converted into USD at the prevailing rate. Note costs are higher for funds wired overseas. Note PayPal deposits are only accepted from verified accounts. You may use Western Union but please check sending and receiving charges first! Net funds received will be added to your account. New projects cannot be posted if your account balance is negative.
Paying for work
There are two options: payment of funds via escrow which is preferred or direct to the consultant on completion. In either case in your account area to pay via Escrow click on New Escrow Payment, for direct payment click on Transfer Funds.
Alternatively you can pay independently of OutSourceToday.net, but will lose the benefits of our payment facilities. Payment method should be clearly stated with projects – some service consultants will not bid without a statement of payment method as they only operate under escrow to protect their business.
Payment of Commission
This falls due when a bid is accepted. You will be charged commission, currently the greater of $4/4% for standard projects, which is automatically deducted. You will be given 7 days to settle the account if your account has insufficient funds to cover it. Non payment will result in a warning and after a further 7 days the account will be frozen. We may also contact other service providers as we are by others which will mean your credit rating will be affected.
Transfer of funds between Buyer and Consultant
You are free to transfer funds. The minimum transfer amount is $10. No fees are payable.
Withdrawal of funds
From your members account area, click on Withdraw funds and select the mode of payment: on-line check/payment, PayPal or bank wire (international payments – outside USA and UK). Current fees (at cost), if any are clearly stated there. Allow from 48 hours for PayPal. Bank wire instructions are processed weekly and must be with us by Monday night for processing that week. The minimum amount that can be withdrawn is $20.
Other means of payment are possible, such as e-currencies.
