How it Works

Outsourcetoday.net has created an online marketplace that brings together project managers/buyers and consultants. To use the marketplace you need to register (which is free with no on-going costs!). Project managers can then immediately post a new project requirement. This lays out key details such as title, description, key deliverables, budget range allowed etc. The relevant category is selected and a date entered for bids to be submitted by.

• Registered consultants will receive details of new projects submitted – based on the categories they registered to be of interest to them. In addition, many others will come to outsourcetoday.net and review current projects.

• Private message boards (PMB) are available for consultants and project managers to communicate with each other. Once a consultant has understood the requirement he can place a bid for undertaking the project. The Project manager is free to accept any bid placed (or none at all). Once accepted the service consultant may deposit funds into escrow. It is recommended that a contract is agreed after which the work will commence.

• Fees are payable on bid acceptance for standard projects or alternatively at project submission for featured projects.

• On completion of the project the work is signed off by the project manager and the project moneys tendered released from Escrow into the consultant's account or paid direct.

Members can add to their accounts at any time via on-line check, bank wire, credit card or PayPal.
